Meet The Owners

The idea for Heather's Heat and Flavor was born on a trip to a coffee, cardamom and peppercorn plantation in Southern India a few years ago. That's when Heather and Brian Marks realized they wanted to share their love of herbs, spices and zesty condiments with friends, family and neighbors in Cleveland. Heather and Brian have lived and worked in Cleveland for most of their lives. They currently run a store at Legacy Village in Lyndhurst, OH. Brian's mother, Karen, operates a second store at First & Main in Hudson, OH. When they are not competing for kitchen time, Heather and Brian travel to hot sauce and food shows around the country, searching out sources for that "something different" to make your next meal special.
